Set of 12 wine glasses, made in Italy. Thick, colorless lead crystal, mouth-blown, faceted, cut. This piece rests on an octagonal base: rather than a standard round base, a thick, heavy, faceted geometric base. Stem (baluster style) with a stepped structural ring (or knob), which gives the glass a solid grip, a truncated conical dome with a vertical octagonal flat cut with the lower part diamond-cut in a cross that creates a prism effect, catching light with broad movements. Unknown producer. Condition: Discontinued. Circa: 1960. Probably produced by the historic glassworks MARIOCIONI.
