Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century was able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, among which TV broadcasts dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events are the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the exhibition at the Dopmiziano museum in Rome, the solo show at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi.
