Antique French mantle clock with a dark marble case and gilded bronze feet, featuring a mechanical 8-day movement, striking every half hour with one bell, dimensions 22 cm high by 35 cm wide by 18 cm deep, weight about 8 kg, condition moderately worn with possible small parts missing, untested and without pendulum or winding key, dating to roughly 1880–1920.

For sale is an elegant antique mantel clock (pendule) from the second half of the 19th century (approx. 1870–1890), made in France.
The case consists of solid, dark-figured marble and stands on lavishly decorated feet made of gilded bronze.
The mantel clock weighs 8 kg.
Movement & details:
On the back side of the plate of the original Paris movement, the serial number 7536 is clearly stamped.
Condition (Please note):
Case:
The marble and bronze elements are in a visually good, age-appropriate condition.
There is a factory bore on the top of the marble.
Here the original crowning ornament (top figure) is missing.
Movement & accessories:
The movement is sold as unrestored and untested. There are no pendulum and no winding key remaining.
The clock is therefore explicitly offered as a project for hobbyists, for restoration, or as a spare-parts donor.
