At the end of the 1940s, the Tippa emerged as an especially compact typewriter, popular as a practical travel companion.

With its flat construction, light weight, and sturdy carrying case, the Tippa embodied mobile work long before laptops and tablets. It was the “office on the go” — ideal for travelers, journalists, business people, and everyone who wanted to write even outside the office.
