Car part (1) - Swiss clock - 1920-1930

This is a small, Swiss-made mechanical watch, presumably intended for use on a desk, while traveling, or for mounting on a dashboard. The movement is housed in a cylindrical case made of base metal, encased by a polished brass bezel. The white dial features black Roman numerals as hour markers and an outer minute display in a “railroad style” with diamond-shaped markings at five-minute intervals. At the 3 o'clock position there is a subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals. The watch has black spade-shaped hands. Access to the movement is via a winding crown and a setting button; the regulator arm is freely accessible. The regulator plate bears the stamp “SWISS MADE” and is marked with the letters S and F for regulation.

These items are old and used, many of them over 90 years old.
