Hellenistic antique hollow gold earrings dating from 200 BC to 100 AD, weighing 2.8 g with dimensions 17 × 16.3 mm, crescent-shaped and decorated with wire-applied motifs and granulation, in good worn condition with patina, provenance from a private London collection and previously on the French art market in the 1970s–1980s, acquired from a UK auction house in 2024 and accompanied by its authenticity certificate.

Pair of antique Hellenistic earrings in ancient gold, dated between 200 BCE and 100 CE.
This elegant pair features a characteristic lunar shape of Hellenistic jewelry. Made in hollow gold, the earrings are decorated with applied wires in wavy motifs and small granulations forming trefoil patterns.
The gold has a superb warm, old patina, with beautiful golden, pinkish, and browned hues, evidence of its age and long conservation history.
Dimensions: 17 x 16.3 mm. Total weight: 2.8 g.
Condition: Good overall condition considering age. Wear and patina in line with age. The attachment systems are preserved. One earring retains a small original suspended element.
Provenance: Former private London collection. Previously on the French art market in the 1970s–1980s. Acquired from a recognized UK auction house and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity issued by this same house.
