Splendid and ancient sculpture in green stone, hand-carved with finishes in gold leaf. Of good size and weighing 5.8 kg. Of probable Mesoamerican origin, it holds in its hand a sacred ceremonial animal. The stone, probably serpentine or rough jade, shows oxidation accumulated over the years. Some light and normal signs of wear visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good condition.
