Hoogwaardige kunst reproductie op canvas, gedrukt door de gerenommeerde Italiaanse drukkerij Amilcare Pizzi (Milano).

Dit kunstwerk is van Oscar-Claude Monet (Parijs, 14 november 1840 – Giverny, 5 december 1926) was een Frans impressionistisch kunstschilder. Hij geldt als een van de meest invloedrijke schilders van zijn tijd. Zijn losse penseelstreken en aandacht voor natuurlijke veranderingen leidden tot een schilderstijl die het gevoel van een scène belangrijker maakte dan haar exacte vorm.

De canvas heeft een buitenmaat van 67x40 en een binnenmaat van 62,5x34

Amilcare Pizzi was een beroemde Italiaanse drukkerij en kunstuitgeverij uit Milaan, vooral bekend om luxe kunstboeken, affiches en hoogwaardige kleurendruk. Het bedrijf had in de 20e eeuw internationaal een enorme reputatie op het gebied van drukkwaliteit.

Het bedrijf is opgericht in 1914 door Amilcare Pizzi.
Hij financierde zijn eerste drukpers opvallend genoeg met geld dat hij verdiende als voetballer bij AC Milan.
Het bedrijf groeide uit tot één van de belangrijkste grafische bedrijven van Italië.
In 1933 installeerde Pizzi de eerste vierkleuren-offsetpers van Italië — toen extreem modern.
Ze drukten:
kunstboeken,
mode- en theaterdrukwerk,
film- en reclameposters,
museumcatalogi,
luxe illustraties en reproducties.

De naam zie je daarom vaak terug op:

vintage kunstprints,
Italiaanse affiches,
reproducties van schilderijen,
ballerina- en art deco-achtige kunst zoals jouw afbeelding.

Hun drukwerk stond bekend om:

rijke kleuren,
hoge kwaliteit papier,
zeer verfijnde reproductietechniek,
en elegante Italiaanse vormgeving.

Na de oorlog richtte Pizzi ook de kunstuitgeverij Silvana Editoriale d’Arte op, die nog steeds bestaat.

Het gaat om een officiële hoogwaardige kunstdruk en wordt verzonden in een koker.
