Unique handmade item, the table base is cut from a single piece of wood, without any joints, only the top is glued, fitted with dowels, and screwed in place.
The table is smooth to the touch, it's made specifically not to be perfect, so it has various details.

METHOD
**(Yakisugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. By slightly charring the surface of the wood without combusting the whole piece, the wood becomes water-proof through the carbonisation and is thus more durable.
