Description from the seller
35mm analog SLR Minolta Dynax 40, produced in the early 2000s, one of the last film models made by the storied Japanese brand before the definitive transition to digital. The camera body presents an ergonomic and modern design for its era, featuring a satin silver finish with a clean look and a black, molded, non-slip grip that ensures a firm hold during use. The top cover houses a small LCD screen for controlling shooting settings, the program selection dials, and the built-in pop-up flash, shown here in its raised position and fully functional in its mechanical housing. The camera is equipped with the original Minolta AF Zoom 28-80mm lens, with a maximum aperture of f/3.5-5.6, a versatile optic with a macro function for close-up shots, with clean glass and rubberized, knurled adjustment rings. This collector's lot comes complete with a black fabric strap branded on the side lugs of the body and a Tamron 62mm front lens cap clip, useful for protecting the front element from dust and scratches. The full kit represents an excellent choice for both vintage-tech collectors and photography students who want to approach film study with a camera featuring advanced automation, fast autofocus, and great ease of use.
