A beautiful antique tile with the image of a stag.

Period: first half of the 17th century.

Dimensions: 12.9 by 13.2 cm, and the thickness is 1.3 cm.

Quality / condition: Reasonable. Unfortunately the tile has been broken. The lower half has been reattached. There is also a crack in the glaze on the underside, which likely occurred during firing. Additionally, there are one or two spots where some glaze has worn away. This has been repaired so well that you can hardly see it. Otherwise the tile is in very good condition. (See attached photos for a good impression.)

This lot will be very well packed and shipped via PostNL.

Pickup in Dordrecht after the auction is of course also possible.

Een mooie antieke tegel met daarop de afbeelding van een hert.

Periode: 1e helft 17e eeuw.

Afmetingen: 12,9 bij 13,2 cm. en de hoogte bedraagt 1,3 cm.

Kwaliteit / conditie: Redelijk. Helaas is de tegel gebroken geweest. De onderste helft is er weer aan geplakt. Tevens zit er aan de onderzijde een barst in het glazuur. Deze is waarschijnlijk ontstaan tijdens het bakproces. Daarnaast zijn er op 1 of 2 plekjes wat glazuurschades weg gewerkt. Dit is echter zo goed gedaan dat je het nauwelijks kan zien. Verder is de tegel in een zeer goede staat. (Zie bijgevoegde foto's voor een goede indruk.)
