Paco Requena, Inventario de lo perdido - XXL, an original acrylic painting on canvas, 130 x 97 cm, created in 2026, signed by hand, in excellent condition, from Spain.
Description from the seller
Original work directly from the artist's studio, created in acrylic on canvas. Completely handmade, signed on the back. Painted originally on a stretcher and later dismounted for shipping. It is varnished to ensure its preservation.
Given the size of the piece, to guarantee proper transport, it is sent unstretched, rolled up and protected in a box or tube. It must be mounted on arrival on a suitable stretcher matching the work's dimensions (130 x 97 cm).
The piece has a 2-centimeter black-painted edge that is not part of the work. It also has an extra fabric margin of about 3.5 cm on each side.
Some images are edited and may give a misleading idea of the work's dimensions. Size verification is recommended. Realistic interior and exterior photographs of the work are provided at the end. Some colors may vary slightly depending on lighting and the device used to view the artwork.
Paco Requena is a Spanish abstract painter who lives and paints in the south of Spain. Trained as a psychologist, during his university studies he began to take an interest in art and started his artistic training by creating his first abstract works. He has held solo and group exhibitions, and his works are available in galleries in his region.
In the artist's universe, color becomes language and geometry becomes emotion. His abstract works celebrate the harmony between the structured and the intuitive, through compositions built with vibrant blocks, rhythmic patterns, and lines that dance between order and chaos.
Each piece is a visual mosaic, an exploration of textures and shapes that invite the viewer to discover personal narratives within what appears to be random. The color palette, bold and contrasting, inspired by the colors of southern Spain, awakens the gaze and transforms the ordinary into art.
Inspired by the spirit of collage and the geometric abstraction of the 20th century, these works are presented as emotional maps of the present: imperfect, fragmented, yet full of intent. A visual experience that seeks not to represent, but to evoke.
