This is not a simple piece of furniture, but a mechanical journey into the career of "Magic". This lot celebrates the perfect contrast: the 1984 Toleman TG184 (the car of the incredible debut in the rain at Monaco) and the 1988 McLaren MP4/4 (the most winning single-seater in history).
The Mechanical Experience: "Gas Up" every time you come home:
The true beating heart of the item is its gravity-driven interactive mechanism. The two hooks are connected directly to the gauges' hands, in particular:
1- Toleman Hook (White/Blue): Hang your keys and you will see the tachometer hand snap upward.
2- McLaren Hook (Red): The weight of the keys drives the Marlboro/Honda dial hand, simulating the turbo pressure that dominated the world of Formula in those golden years.
Artistic and Technical Details:
- Graphics: Ultra-detailed technical prints with an aerial view. The yellow Ayrton helmet is visible in the cockpit of the Toleman and of the McLaren.
