Description from the seller
Description: A very fine harness / chatelaine, consisting of an 18th-century belt hook and pincushion, made by Albertus Antonius Rooswinkel from Leeuwarden in about 1790. The pincushion has a silver partly open-work edge and is provided with a medallion containing a human figure. The belt hook features a depiction of a cherub. Later, a fourtinure scissor was added to the set. This was made by Christiaan Jacobs Bruinings from Joure in about 1860.
