B.V. Oel (Benzol-Verband Oel) is a German brand for lubricating oil and fuels and is a predecessor of the later Aral brand. The logo and name were used from the 1920s. The abbreviation BV stands for Benzol-Verband, an organization from the German coal and fuel industry.
