Magnificent cigarette case in solid silver 950/1000, total weight 206 grams, by the house Hénin & Compagnie, Parisian silversmiths active from 1896 to 1901.
Features:

Minerva head first-title hallmark (Minerva head with the number 1)

Silversmith's mark: H&Cie inside a lozenge with a star

Geometric guilloché pattern evocative of Art Deco avant la lettre

Functional clasp, very pleasant spring-loaded opening

Condition: Good overall, wear consistent with age. Secure closure.
