Minolta XG-M body in very good condition, tested and working, with Minolta MC/MD mount for 35 mm film, serial no. 2095484, dating to 1980–1990.
Description from the seller
This beautiful camera has been tested and found to be functioning. The transport lever occasionally sticks. For the rest, the camera operates properly.
Included:
- Minolta XG-M body
- Minolta carrying strap
Exposure modes: The XG-M offers both aperture-priority (Aperture Priority) and a fully manual mode (Manual). Unlike earlier XG models, the built-in light meter remains active even in manual mode (Metered Manual) to show the recommended shutter speed.
Lens mount: The camera uses the Minolta SR mount (often referred to as the MC/MD mount). For full automatic exposure, MD lenses are required.
Shutter: An electronically controlled, horizontal cloth focal-plane shutter. Shutter speeds range from 1 to 1/1000 second plus a Bulb (B) for long exposures. In automatic mode the shutter is stepless.
Touch Switch: The camera features a unique, touch-sensitive shutter release. As soon as you place your finger on the button (without pressing it), the conductivity of your skin immediately activates the light meter and the viewfinder display.
Bright Viewfinder: The viewfinder covers 93% of the film frame. It is equipped with a split-image indicator and a microprism ring for precise focusing. On the right, red LED lamps show the shutter speed, and at the bottom the selected lens aperture value can be read.
