Description from the seller
Museum-grade giant grape chalcedony (7.7 kg) – three-colour 360° premium specimen with sculptural character
For sale is an absolute showpiece for top collections and refined interiors:
A gigantic, 7.7 kg heavy grape chalcedony (grape chalcedony) in museum quality.
This monumental large specimen is completely crystallized all around (360 degrees).
From every angle it offers a completely new, spectacular structure and a rare, three-colour aesthetics (green, bluish & violet).
Key details at a glance:
Mineral: grape chalcedony / grape chalcedony
Weight: 7.7 kg (extremely heavy, massive showpiece)
Color: three-colour (intense lavender-violet, forest-green celadonite nuances and blue-gray)
Formation: botryoidal crystallization with deep geode chambers, delicate skeletal structure and vertically sculptural growth
Special feature: genuine 360-degree specimen – aesthetically grown all around, no ugly or "blind" rock backing
Origin: Indonesia (Manakarra, Sulawesi)
Description:
This exceptional display piece fascinates with its enormous versatility, impressive physical presence and plastic depth.
In vertical display the specimen reveals an almost sculptural character, reminiscent of a dynamically grown crystalline flame.
It unites several spectacular growth forms in a single piece:
The sculptural vertical: The mineral tapers upward elegantly. The intensely green celadonite inclusions sit like sparkling moss on the densely grown, lavender-colored grape-cluster bodies.
The monumental broadside: A huge, expansive surface showing dense carpets of perfectly formed violet spherical aggregates, which transition fluidly into intense green-gray zones.
The hollows: Deep, geode-like chambers in which the grapes are protected, perfectly undamaged and plastically formed to shine in the light.
The skeleton structure: A spectacular side showing a delicate, web-like branching and stalactite-like ribs, which are also fully coated with the finest chalcedony spheres.
The entire surface is glazed with a fine layer of glittering microcrystals (drusy quartz), which lends the specimen a magical sparkle depending on the light.
As the piece is impeccably mineralized from all sides and has no unsightly rock matrix, it is a perfect 360-degree centerpiece for freestanding luxury display cases.
A grape chalcedony of this weight class, color variety, and structural diversity is an absolute rarity on the world market.
Note on packaging and photos: The photos were taken from various angles to best capture the enormous detail depth and the true colors.
Due to the high weight of 7.7 kg, the piece will be packed extremely securely, with elaborate padding and shock protection to guarantee flawless transport.
