Dan-Yacouba mask, Ivory Coast, Montagnes region (Man – Biankouma). An anthropomorphic mask of great formal elegance, belonging to one of the most sought-after stylistic corpora in West Africa.

The face, oval and taut, is structured by a marked central nasal ridge that divides the composition with authority.
