In the center of a lit studio, a woman waits, surrounded by objects and clothes that suggest different identities. The space becomes a stage, and the body a screen for projection. The work captures the tension between what one is and what one could become under the external gaze.
Le Yack, a rising French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is a creative director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, the United States.
