The Sony TA-FE510R is a reliable, integrated stereo amplifier from the late 1990s (produced between 1995 and 1999). The model is known for its solid build quality and pure sound reproduction, supported by a number of specific audio technologies from Sony.
Main specifications and features
-Power: 2 x 80 Watt at 4 Ohm (measured at 1 kHz).
-Super Legato Linear: This technology prevents cross-over distortion in the final amplifier for a cleaner sound.
-Using a separate power supply for the pre- and post-amplifier section to reduce interference, the spontaneous twin drive is employed.
Analog Inputs:
Tape player input (Phono MM).
CD player.
Tuner.
2x Tape connections (including Tape Monitor function).
1x Extra wiring entrance (Aux).
Sound control: Equipped with a separate tone control for high and low notes, plus a Loudness function for extra dynamics at low volumes.
The EON link allows the amplifier to communicate with a suitable Sony tuner that has RDS/EON functions.
Exits: Equipped with a headphone output on the front and large, sturdy speaker cable clips on the back.
