A fine pair of Art Nouveau silver salt cellars, crafted circa 1870 by an unknown silversmith. Though not French masterwork, they display the quintessential Art Nouveau aesthetic with flowing lines, floral ornament and elegant asymmetry. Each stands on four curved legs, adorned with stylised blossoms, and retains its original glass liner.
Bearing the French import “weevil” mark (1864–93) for 800 silver fineness.
