Fish serving set - .950 silver

Fish-serving cutlery whose handles are solid silver 1st title 950‰ Minerva head, and the blade and fork in silvered metal, made in France in the second half of the 19th century, circa 1880.

Regency/Louis XV style décor, the handles adorned with interlaced mouldings from which acanthus leaves spring, and the initials “D” and “R” hand-engraved. The blade and fork feature an acid-etched design and are engraved with foliate scrolls and a flowering vase. All finely hand-chiseled!
