This “box camera” model stands out clearly from the classic and more common box cameras of the era thanks to its superior build quality, characterized by a solid internal wooden framework rather than simple pressed cardboard, and by a unique and refined design. The body is entirely clad in black imitation leather with a fine grain and features on the top a sturdy original leather carrying handle, showing the classic signs of aging. The front houses the single-lens how it is enclosed in a distinctive central black metal ring, where the white inscription ERNEMANN is engraved in an elegant period font.
