Aleks Nika, Libertà Intrecciata - HandMade, a limited edition mixed media artwork (edition 854915) created in 2026 in Ukraine, 42 × 32 cm, sold with a frame directly from the artist, in good condition.
Description from the seller
In art I am Aleks Nika. Originally from Ukraine, the vicissitudes of life have taken me far from my homeland, but they have also allowed me to find a new home in which to let my Expressive Freedom flourish. My art comes to life through a mixed-media technique: by exploring textures, materials and overlays, I transform my experiences into color and volume, making each work a unique visual and tactile experience.
Title: Interwoven Freedom
This polymaterial composition captures the energy of a proud white horse galloping across a golden field of wheat. The true peculiarity of the painting lies in the creative use of three-dimensional elements applied on top of the painted base, which fuse illustration with tactile craftsmanship:
Relief Dynamism: The mane and tail were created by applying soft white and beige wool threads. This device makes the subject “emerge” from the canvas, emphasizing the effect of wind and speed.
Material Clouds: In the sky of the work, real tufts of moss and lichen were glued, adding a rustic and natural texture to the backdrop.
Hidden Details: Bottom left, a small three-dimensional ladybug perched on a stalk of wheat brings an unexpected and vivid touch of red to the scene.
It is a rustic-flavored work that conveys strength and freedom, inviting the viewer not only to look at the scene but to imagine its tactile texture.
The piece is signed by the artist and bears an identifying serial number.
Shipped with Corriere Espresso Assicurato.
