Ancient Russian icon depicting Saint Nicholas of Myra, dating from the 19th century. The Saint is shown bust-length and wears episcopal vestments, among which the stole decorated with crosses stands out, a symbol of his episcopal dignity. The artwork is created using the traditional technique of egg tempera on a wooden panel with silver leaf. In good condition with wear and signs of aging. For all details please refer to the photos.
