Description from the seller
Premium - Celestine Geode
An essential piece for your interior decor
Celestine comes from the Latin term « coelestis » which means « heavenly ». It is more commonly translated as “sky blue.” In 1789, shortly after its discovery, the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner named this crystal thus, its reflections resembling a sky bathed in light.
Its color, very soft, earns it the nickname “Angel Stone.” According to legend, it was born from the pure and hypnotic song of angels. It is also associated with the Pleiades constellation, regarded as the spiritual cradle of humanity.
Many synonyms are linked to it, among them celestite, cliftonite, dioxynite, sicilianite, or the sulfate of strontianite.
