In light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, the texture and depth change, individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises when walking, standing, lingering.

Frequency VERMILION is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency VERMILION
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4,5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest-quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide, hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the work under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the pieces feel alive.
