Description
Elegant side table / writing desk in the Louis XV style, made in France around the mid-20th century.
The piece stands on graceful Cabriole legs with subtle claw feet and features a characteristic curved drawer front with original Rococo hardware in a bronze-tone finish.
The proportions are refined and balanced, typical of French revival furniture from this period.
The top is finished in beautiful walnut burl veneer with a warm, vivid grain.
The raised gallery rim around the top gives the piece extra character and practicality. The central drawer is lined on the inside with green felt and opens smoothly.
A stylish piece that works beautifully as a writing desk, hall table, or decorative side table.
Condition
Good overall condition with normal signs of use consistent with age.
Light wear to edges and top visible, no structural defects.
