An elegant polychrome ceramic sculpture by Essevi on a model attributed to Alessandro Mola (1903–1957), depicting a young Sardinian woman with a traditional headdress in a Deco style, signed and numbered under the base; dimensions 21 cm high, 17.5 cm wide, 9 cm deep; in good condition with minor signs of aging.

Elegant polychrome ceramic sculpture created by the Essevi manufactory on a model attributed to Alessandro Mola (1903-1957), an important Sardinian sculptor and ceramist active at the famous manufactory founded by Sandro Vacchetti.
The work depicts a young woman with a traditional Sardinian headdress, interpreted in the déco taste typical of Essevi production in the Forties. The delicate modeling of the face, the half-closed eyes, and the refined polychrome decoration give the sculpture a strong decorative and collectible value.
Marked and numbered beneath the base.

Conditions
Good overall condition. There are light signs of wear and small chips to the base compatible with age and use. Glossy glazes and decoration well preserved.
