Scailmont - Lidded vase - Accent - Crystal

Very decorative Art Deco vase in amber color, designed by Henri Heemskerk for the Belgian manufacturer Scailmont.
Made in high-quality pressed crystal, with stepped geometric shapes characteristic of the era.
It preserves its original top piece with perforations (“flower frog” or pique-fleurs), used to hold the stems of flowers and facilitate elegant floral arrangements—a detail uncommon in this type of piece and highly valued by collectors.
During the thirties, Scailmont developed a renowned line of decorative glassware in Art Deco style, with designs by Henri Heemskerk, considered one of the most prominent creators of the period.
The piece is in excellent condition. The air bubbles and slight threads in the glass are typical of the manufacturing process and reinforce its authenticity.
