Two high-end vintage models of portable Sony Walkman cassette players, characterized by a refined mirror-like metal finish.
Masters of miniaturization, they are a little bigger than a cassette...Two splendid pieces for your collection.
Sony WM-EX5 nicknamed in the collectibles field "Mirror Man". Produced from 1996, it stands out for the front panel completely reflective like a mirror, with the SONY logo positioned on the upper edge.
Sony WM-EX1HG Launched in 1994 to commemorate the Walkman brand's 15th anniversary, it is the luxurious chromed version (HG stands for High Grade) of the classic WM-EX1 model. It features a central window shaped like an elongated triangle and the word "WALKMAN" engraved at the bottom.
The aesthetic condition is good with very few scratches on the delicate mirror surface, some small signs of wear; not perfect, but the photos show it well.
Like most vintage Walkmans, the belts need to be replaced. It is a delicate job that has to be done by someone who knows how. For this reason I am selling them as non-working or as collectible items.
I am adding to the set an external battery charger adaptable to both models, visible in the photo.
