A 7-piece bronze nesting weight set from Nuremberg, dated 1681–1721, with a total weight of about 900 g; the largest bowl is 6.4 cm in diameter and 5.2 cm high, with some pieces not original.

Closing or weight for use with a cup / nesting weights
Closing weight, 7-piece and heavy 2 Keulse Brands, bronze, Nuremberg, outside only decorated with double turning rings. Beveled notches on the underside which weight-balanced it.
Marked on the top of the lid: “crossed key and arrow”, maker's mark / master sign 'arrow and key crossed + AZ = Andreas Zickengeist (Ziegengeist); Master No 952, 1681 - 1721, Nuremberg.
In the rim of the largest bowl there are 8 stars struck.
In the bottom of the barrel the number 1 (mark) and the letter V which is also on the largest bowl.
In the second, third and fourth bowl is stamped the seal of a hand with extended fingers, standing for Antwerp. The third bowl has the weight indication 8 (lead).
The smallest weight / cap and the smallest bowl are not original, and take the place of originally the smallest little bowl and the equally heavy cap.
The hinge has an old repair with an iron intermediary piece.
The closing weight weighs about 900 grams.
Dimensions: diameter of the barrel top 6.4 cm, bottom 4 cm.
Height of the barrel 5.2 cm.
The maker associated with this mark, as well as his guild registration number, and the year of the Master's Degree are as follows: Andreas Ziegengeist No. 952, 1681.
