Storage trunk - Leather - Original key, leather, wood

Magnificent and rare leather-and-wood chest of medieval Gothic style, shaped like a treasure chest with a domed top, highly crafted decoration featuring a figure and baroque ornaments. A wooden-and-leather chest with a lock and its original key; the interior is lined with red felt. In good condition; I think it dates from the very early 20th century, brought by my great-grandparents, I believe from Italy.
Dimensions approximately: height 13 cm, width 10 cm, length 21 cm.
