7 Early XXth tea towels - Textile - 83 cm - 60 cm

We virtually receive weekly the typical French popular, linen tea towels with red borders.
We have to carefully go through every piece to establish their condition.
Most of them have to be abandoned because of intensive wear and tear.
So from time to time we land up with siblings which deserve another chance in the
kitchen where they have always been part of the French household since they were
first introduced in the 19th Century.
It is an interesting mix of initials and stripes.
