These special teeth come from a Mosasaurus, a dinosaur that lived 72 to 75 million years ago.
The Mosasaurus was a dinosaur that lived in and ruled the seas; the species occurred worldwide and could reach up to 20 meters in length. Mosasaurs became extinct when 66 million years ago a giant meteorite struck the Earth.
It was a very active predator with good vision. The skull and jaws were sturdy in construction, and capable of devouring almost any other animal or reptile.
