Magnificent and authentic oval Le Creuset gratin dish No. 32, made in France in the 1960s, boasting the legendary volcanic orange color.
Produced in high-quality enameled cast iron, this large dish combines robustness, elegance, and remarkable culinary performance. It is today both an exceptional cooking utensil and a superb vintage piece sought after by collectors and fans of traditional cuisine.
Thanks to its generous dimensions, it is ideal for family gratins, lasagna, roasted meats, confit vegetables, baked fish, or slow-cooked dishes requiring gentle, even heat.

Condition
Very good overall condition for a piece over 60 years old.
To note:
Some localized chips on the enamel of the handles (see photos).
The satin white enamel interior shows only a few very discreet and diffuse signs of use.
No chips in the cooking area.
No cracks or repairs.
Very nice brightness and superb gloss of the orange exterior enamel.
Original markings perfectly visible under the dish: Le Creuset – Made in France – No. 32.
