Austrian commemorative coin dedicated to Walther von der Vogelweide, one of the most important poets and minstrels of medieval German literature. The obverse presents a dynamic artistic composition in which the author is depicted in an idealized form, accompanied by poetic and natural symbols that reinforce his link to courtly lyric. The reverse stands out for its heraldic character, showing the regional coats of Austria arranged around the face value, providing notable symbolic and political content.
