A beautiful mid-century lead crystal vase by the premier Belgian manufactory Val Saint Lambert, featuring the iconic "Imperial" pattern.
This heavy, brilliant piece showcases a masterfully hand-cut central diamond band, framed by deep vertical flutes that create a striking play of light. The design emerged during the company's prosperous post-war revival period in the late 1950s, a golden era for high-quality Belgian art glass.
The underside carries the authentic, hand-engraved Val Saint Lambert factory signature, accompanied by genuine surface patina consistent with its age and careful use. A timeless example of European glass craftsmanship, perfect for any serious collection of fine crystal.
Condition is excellent vintage. No significant chips and cracks, no restorations. Tiny and insignificant kisses of time and use - mostly fine sliding traces.
