Carriage clock - Brass - 1900-1910

This elegant and classic French travel clock, also known as a pendulette de voyage, was manufactured during the first decade of the 20th century. The clock is housed in a gilded brass corniche-style case, characterized by a clean top plate and a profiled plinth. The four sides are fitted with glass panels that provide a wonderful view of the inner mechanism.

The clock features an immaculate white enamel dial with clear black Roman numerals for the hour markers and a subtle outer ring for the minutes. The finely crafted spade hands are made of blued steel.

Condition report: The case shows an authentic patina appropriate to its age. The enamel dial is in excellent condition with no visible hairlines.
