Description from the seller
Here is your chance to own a large and massive fossil shark tooth from the greatest marine predator of all time: Otodus megalodon. The tooth measures an impressive 5.37 inches (approx. 13.6 cm) along its longest diagonal side and is a classic "river find" from the rivers of South Carolina, USA.
The shark that carried this tooth is estimated to have been around 15.5 meters (approx. 51 feet) long—a truly mind-boggling size!
Important Condition Information (Restoration)
To be fully transparent: about 50% of the tooth's root has been restored/reconstructed. The enamel, the sharp cutting edge, and the serrations are completely natural and in very fine condition, but the root has been professionally repaired to restore the tooth's full shape and give it a complete, aesthetic appearance.
