Description from the seller
Elegant modernist table lamp crafted in patinated brass, characterized by a refined balance between functionality and formal research typical of European design in the first half of the 20th century.
The structure features a circular base from which a sinuous and slender stem rises, supporting a wide shade that is orientable by an adjustable joint. The interior of the diffuser is enameled white for better light reflection.
The essential lines, the absence of superfluous decorative elements and the high build quality recall the design language of Bauhaus and German Modernism of the 1930s and 1940s.
The original patina of the brass gives the object authentic charm and a notable scenographic presence.
