Sterling silver 925 wall-mounted baptismal font featuring a relief of the Virgin under a canopy crowned with a cross, framed by ornate baroque-style openwork, with a gallonated lower cup, measuring 9 × 5 × 2 cm and weighing 39 g, dating to the 1940s–1950s and in good used condition.

Wall-mounted Holy Water Font in 925 sterling silver. Spain, circa 1960–1970.
Wall-hung holy water font made of 925 sterling silver, decorated with a relief depiction of the Virgin under a canopy crowned by a cross and surrounded by rays, framed by elegant pierced ornamentation in a Baroque-inspired style.
The lower cup, intended to hold holy water, features a delicate gadrooned design. Retains the upper ring for wall mounting. On the back there is the 925 hallmark, certifying the silver’s purity.
Spanish manufacture, dateable to the 1960s–1970s. A devotional piece, carefully executed and of high ornamental quality, suitable for both religious use and as part of a collection of silverware and sacral art.
Dimensions: 9 × 5 × 2 cm.
Weight: 39 g.
