Description from the seller

Small cassiterite gem with a beautiful color, crystals formed in an interesting way.
Cassiterite is a mineral (tin dioxide).
The main sources of cassiterite are often linked to hydrothermal veins, notably in areas such as Bolivia. These veins, formed by high-temperature fluids associated with granitic intrusions, create environments rich in minerals such as tourmaline and wolframite. Secondary deposits, found in alluvial or placer contexts in regions such as Malaysia and Indonesia, concentrate the durable grains of this mineral through weathering and erosion.
