This Jaguar E-Type 4.2L Series 2 Cabriolet (OTS) from 1970 is a carefully restored example in very neat condition. A classic with a strong presence. An attractive and complete specimen for the enthusiast.
Bodywork and paint
The car has been fully nuts-and-bolts restored and is in well-kept, neat condition. The body is clean and the paint in Opalescent Silver Grey has a deep shine. The chrome work is in well-kept condition and the car is equipped with recently renewed chrome wire wheels, complete with new tires all around.
Mechanical condition
The 4.2-litre inline-six engine runs smoothly and powerfully. The gearbox shifts nicely and the brakes, suspension and steering operate as expected of a well-maintained E-Type. The car is matching numbers and has an odometer reading of 87,989 miles. Supplied with Dutch registration and ready to drive.
Interior condition
The interior has been reupholstered in high-quality black leather and is in very neat condition. The finish is well executed with attention to originality. The black mohair soft-top closes properly and is likewise in excellent condition.
