Magnificent ceiling lamp, French Empire-style plafonnier, manufactured in the first half of the 20th century.
This classic piece stands out for its robust circular structure in gold metal/bronze, topped by an elegant ornamental gallery in the shape of a crown with detailed palmettes and geometric reliefs.
The design is enriched by several concentric strands of pendants in translucent faceted crystal. The outer layer features cut crystals in a blade/knife-point shape, creating a geometric cascades effect and giving a strong light, airy look.
The lower section closes in a semicircular basket shape with crystal bead chains converging to a central bronze floral boss.
It is a fairly old chandelier with natural patina from time. The light was put on only to see the illuminated effect. It does not have a socket built in.
It will be a standout piece in any style or design. An elegant and sophisticated, timeless piece.
It will be very well packaged but please note that during travel some parts may become loose and will have to be put back in place. It is the buyer’s responsibility to put them back into their fittings.
