The BeoLink Converter NL/ML is the bridge between the new Network Link and the well-known Master Link. Music and commands are transmitted digitally via Network Link — based on Ethernet technology — and the Master Link uses analog music distribution, so a form of conversion between the two technologies is required when music needs to cross the connections.
When connected to a Master Link configuration, the BeoLink Converter NL/ML assumes the role of video master and can distribute the available sources on the Master Link.
There must be an audio master available, as the BeoLink Converter NL/ML cannot serve as a power master on the Master Link.
The product is continuously ready and does not need to be powered up when conversion is required.
It can be mounted horizontally on the wall bracket.
The installation is performed on the product’s web page (IP address of the product). When using a direct connection to a PC, the product can be found at the standard local IP address 169.254.11.22.
