Oriental rug, hand-knotted, wool on cotton; the wool is hand-spun and dyed naturally, without a central medallion, in beige tones and dark blue, with floral borders. Very modern appearance. Sold with its certificate of authenticity. Ziegler: These carpets are made in Afghanistan according to traditions established in the Arak region, in Iran. The British company Ziegler launched production of carpets tailored to European tastes there in the 1870s. The motifs are often copied from Persian carpets. The wool is of very good quality and dyed with natural plant dyes.

Tapis d'Orient, noué à la main laine sur coton, la laine est filée à la main et colorée naturelle, sans médaillon central,  dans les ton beige et bleu foncé, autour des bordures florales.
