Description:
Splendid and imposing collection consisting of 60 1/24 scale models belonging to the famous series "Grand Racing Motorbikes" published by DeAgostini. An exceptional and unmissable collection for all enthusiasts of the motor world, MotoGP, and the history of sport motorcycling.
The collection retraces the most iconic bikes and prototypes of all time, including:
The famous Yamaha YZR500 and M1 (Valentino Rossi, Norifumi Abe, Max Biaggi)
The historic and multi-award-winning MV Agusta (John Surtees, Giacomo Agostini)
The legendary Suzuki RG500 and RGV500 (Marco Lucchinelli, Kevin Schwantz, Barry Sheene)
The lightning-fast Honda NSR, CBR and RC
The iconic Ducati, Aprilia, Cagiva, Gilera and Derbi that shaped Grand Prix history.
Each model is faithfully reproduced in minute detail and is housed inside its own original transparent plexiglass display case, complete with a black rigid base featuring the official description of the model, the rider, and the reference year. A significant portion of the display cases is designed to stack perfectly, allowing the creation of a magnificent striking display wall (as visible in the photos).
Notes on the lot conditions (Transparency for collectors):
The interior models are in excellent, like-new condition and never opened. Being a vintage collection, there are minor defects: small superficial scratches or slight threadings on some of the outer plastic display cases due to age and storage. This cosmetic aspect of the cases does not in any way affect the integrity, beauty, or value of the motorcycles inside.
Shipping:
Given the bulk and fragility of the plexiglass display cases, the lot will be professionally and ultra-securely packed (extensive use of bubble wrap and a sturdy protective box) to ensure that all 60 pieces arrive intact at their destination.
