Giorgio Toccaceli, born in Castelfidardo, Italy, 1954
He has a background as a newspaper cartoonist; he has participated in the Tolentino International Caricature Museum, in the Humor Biennale, and his art has spread through exhibitions dedicated to him such as "Diving into Color" or "Hidden in the Canvas"; the latter takes its name from his well-known signature, the one that draws himself inside his paintings.
His playful inspiration, which elicits smiles, exudes sweetness and makes people think.
His caricatures and paintings are able to “immortalize” in a single action the feelings, virtues and vices of an entire community, contextualizing them and offering a sarcastic, yet always delicate, glimpse of society itself.
Giorgio Toccaceli’s art is in constant flux and moves with inventiveness among varied graphic lines, adapting to the times without chasing them.
